Sports Activies 

 Name of the Head : Shri. Dhande S. V. M.Ped. M.Phil.  

  From : - 09-04-2007 To Onwards                                                      

     This department  established in the College in June 1971. Shri D. D. Shinde , Shri N. B. Pathan & Shri R. K. Choudhary worked as In-Charge Lecturers of this Department till July 1976 . In July 1976 Mrs K. G. Jadhav took the charge of the Department as a Head. The staff of the Department is expert as well as qualified .Mrs K. G. Jadhav has been honoured with “ Shiv Chatrapati Krida Puraskar ” 1998-99 by state Government of Maharashtra .

     Shri. Dhande S. V is working at the present as a Department Head and Shri B. D. Mengade is the other lecturer working in the Department The Department has always contributed in various ways in the field of sports ,social , Physical, Intellectual Development of the students to create the atmosphere of physical fitness , Guest Lectures are often arranged by the Department .

     The Department selects and develops Sportsmen so that they can participate and get success in Inter – University , State , National Level Games . The Department has some commendable achievements in the games at different levels . The Department also arrange games and Competitions in collaboration with University .

     The Department is modernized with well – equipped sports instruments and Gym-Machine . Selected students are trained by N. I. S. Coaches .Physical Education as optional subjects at B.A. level has been started in the College in 1995 . The Department is constantly in pursuit of development to  face new challenges .

Information Of Gymnasium : Well equipped Gymnasium Hall with multi stage Gymnasium machine .

Facilities in the Sport Department :
 
1. Department has Kabaddi , Kho-Kho , Cricket , Volley Ball , Table Tenis , Badminton , Shot-Put ,
    Disscus , Ball Badminton    , Weight Lifting    Material , Body Building Material , Chess , Archery Grounds
    and Material of above Sports & Games .
2.  College participate in all Sports event conducted by Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University ,
     Aurangabad .
3. College organize Intra malular and Extra malular activities .
 
   Achievement of Department from 2006 -07 :-
 
•  Satpute Rajaram Dharmraj [ B.A.T.Y.] was selected in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada
    University , Kabaddi Team .
• Sangle Mahendra Maruti [ B.A.F.Y.] was Third in intercollegiate Atheltics Tournament 
• Katkhade Baliram Keshav [ B.A.S.Y.] was Runner-up in 10 km distance in Maha-Marathon .
 
Achievement of Department from 2007 -08 :-
 
• College organized Jointly with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University , Aurangabad
   Ashwamedh Inter Collegiate Archery Tournament .
• Shaikh Ajaz Sk. Mahemood [ B.A.F.Y.] was selected in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada 
  University Football Team .
• College participated in different sports and game in Ashwamedh Inter Collegiate Tournament .
 
Achievement of Department from 2008 -09 :-
 
• Shri Bankatswami College and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University , Aurangabad Jointly
   organized Ashwamedh Inter    Collegiate Table Tennis Tournament on 8th , 9th September 2008 
• Pawar Atul Arun was selected in Ashwamedh Inter University Kabaddi Tournament held at Rahuri Krushi
  Vidhyapith , Rahuri , Ahmednagar .
• Momin Farooq was First in Ashwamedh Inter Collegiate Body Building Tournament and was selected in
  Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Team for Inter University Tournament .
 
Achievement of Department from 2009 -10 :-
 
• College Kabaddi Team was at Third Place in Ashwamedh Inter Collegiate kabaddi Tournament held at
   Omerga .
• Gaikwad Ketan Kailash was selected in Maharashtra Kabaddi Team and the Tournament was held at
   Bopal in Madhyapradesh on 24th to 28th December 2009 .
• Shaikh Ajaz Sk. Mahemood was selected in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Football
   Team .
• Galphade Sachin Murali [ B.A.F.Y.] was Second in Ashwamedh Inter Collegiate Best Physical Tournament
   held at Milliya College , Beed .
 
Achievement of Department from 2010 -11 :-
 
• Shaikh Ajaz Sk. Mahemood was selected in Dr. Babasaheb Ambdedkar Marathwada Football Team .
• Ku. Amte Vandana and Ku. Sapkal Sonali participated in State Level Soft Ball Open Tournament .
• Sayyed Sameer , Shaikh Salauddin , Shaikh Alim [ All B.A.F.Y.] participated in Open State Level Volley
  Ball Tournament .
 
Achievement of Department from 2011 -12 :-
 
• Gaikwad Ketan kailash was selected in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Kabaddi Team as well as in Ashwamedh  Inter University Kabaddi Team held at Parbhani .
