Department of Psychology

        The department was established in June 1995 under the headship of Mrs. S. B. Bhosale. Presently, Shri A.R.Daitkar is working as Head of the Department. The other faculty member is Dr. S.L.Tribhuvan.

       The Department has well-equipped laboratory containing various equipments , instruments & machines necessary for the practicals of the subject .

       The Department organizes Study Tours every year as a part of co-curricular activity . Well-known mental hospitals ,rehabilitation Centers like Mental Hospital , Yerwada , Pune , Muktangan , Pune have been visited by the Students . Guest Lectures of subject experts like Dr. Narke H. J. and Dr. Mogale have been arranged by the Department . The Department has organized  Exibition on “ Psychological Problems and Treatment ”which was open to all . This was a kind of extension activity of the Department. The Department works for the Personality building and development of the students.

       The faculty of the department  works as member of Student Concealing Committee in the College . Shri A.R.Daitkar and Dr. S.L.Tribhuvan are working as NSS Programme Officers of the College.

  2. Dr. Tribhuvan S. L. Completed his M.Phil On “Comparative Study Of Personality The Qualities  Of Orphan & Non Orphan Children ” in the year 2008 and Ph.D. “A Comparative Study Of Adjustment Personality Aspects among Retired Old Person Living In Family And Institutions ” in the year 2011 .
