Department of Geography

           Department of Geography was established in June 1995 . Geography is the optional subject at Under Graduate Level . Shri. Borade A. G. worked as In-Charge Head of the Department till 2000 . Shri. Yede G. M. was associated with the Department till 2000 . In June – 2000 Shri. More S. M. took the charge of the Department as In-Charge Head and Shri Gangarde R. S. associated the Department till 2003. Shri. Chavan J. D. joined the Department from 2003 and Shri. Konka P. R. in 2009.

            To observe and study variety of Geographical Places, Landscape, the Department arranges Study Tour every year. The Geographical Landscape of Maharashtra is observed and studied practically by the student in this way. The Department celebrates “Geography Day” every year in various ways. Guest Lectures of renowned Lectures are arranged to guide the students. “Geographical Exbition” is another important activity of the Department.

            The Department is well-equipped with almost all necessary and modern equipments of Geography. The Department has well – equipped, separate Laboratory.
