Department of Political Science

           The Department was established in June 1971 under the Headship of Shri S. R. Pradeshi . He left the College in the year June 1978. Shri R.K.Choudhari was head of Department till 1981. At present Shri B. T. Pradhan is working as Head of the Department & In-charge Principal of the college. Other faculty member Shri S.V.Patil is Head of Public Administration department.

          The Department actively participated in “COHSSIP” Scheme sponsored by UGC.  The Department arranged lectures of subject experts like Shri B. Y. Kulkarni, Shri R. T. Garje on the subject “The Challenges before Indian Democracy”. Mrs. K. G. Jadhav on “Empowerment of Women” and Shri B. Y. Kulkarni on “Merits and Demerits of Democracy”

        The Department has organized one day District Level Seminar on “50 Years of Indian Independence – Political and Administrative Changes and Challenges”. 

        Shri B. T. Pradhan has been invited as Chief Guest and Resource Person in various Social Programmes.
